Comic Costumes

I am crazy about comic books and comic book characters. I have a particular affection for the costumes. Always have, always will.

I wanted to do more drawings focusing on strokes. All characters were hand drawn on paper and scanned it in, then traced over in illustrator. I went even further into using a mix of different brushes to work on the shading for these guys. As a style experiment I played around with an ink splat effect to sort of creatively make a mess of things a bit.

As a fun experiment. I would originally draw the characters in pen on paper so that any mistakes made had to be incorporated into the drawing.
